Same waffle piqué as the big one, cut down to size and sewn by hand here in Germany. Three sizes – from 4, from 8 and from 12 years – and the same three colours as the grown-up apron, so a pair can match or deliberately not. The neck strap adjusts, so each size grows along for a while. The front pocket is a proper pocket, not a decoration: a small whisk, a cookie cutter and a folded towel fit. Machine washable at 40 °C, which is the only sensible way to sell a child's apron.

Size table
Measured flat, without the straps. The age is a starting point – if you can, measure the child from the base of the neck to just below the knee and pick by length.
Between two sizes? Take the larger one – the neck strap adjusts, and the apron is worn for years.
